第二十五章 论教会

一、无形的大公教会或普世教会为过去、现在与将来在教会的元首基督之下所召集合而为一的选民总数所构成。这教会就是主的配偶、身体和那充满万有者所充满的1。
二、有形的教会在福音时代（在律法时代仅限于一个民族）也是大公的、普世的，为凡承认真实宗教者2，以及彼等之子女3所构成。这教会是主耶稣基督的国度4，神的家族5，在此以外是没有得救常例的可能性6。
三、基督为了召开并成全在今世生活的圣徒，直到世界之末，就把牧职、圣言以及神的典章赐给这大公和有形的教会。按照他的应许，借着自己的临在和圣灵，为达成目的而使之生效7。
四、此大公教会有时比较显明，有时比较不显明8。作此教会肢体的各个教会的纯正程度之差异，乃是根据其所教导并接纳之福音要理，所执行的仪式，并所守的公共礼拜的纯正程度之多寡而定9。
五、天下最纯正的教会也难免有混杂和错谬`10。有些教会简直不是基督的教会，腐败到成为撒但的会堂的程度11；虽然如此，在地上总有按神旨意敬拜他的教会12。
六、教会除主耶稣基督以外无元首13。不拘怎样说，罗马教会的教皇并非教会的元首，乃是那敌基督者、那大罪人，和灭亡之子，那在教会中高抬自己，抵挡基督，和一切称为神的14。

第二十五章 论教会
一．无形的大公教 会或普世教会由过去、现在和未来在教会的元首基督之下所召集的合而为一的全体选民构成；这教会是主的新妇、身体，是祂那充满万有的丰盈（弗1 :10，22，23；5:23，27，32；西1:18）。
二．有形的教会，在福音之下也是大公的、普世的（不像从前在律法之下仅 限于一个国家），包括全世界一切信奉真宗教的人（林 前1:2；12:12-13；诗2:8；启7:9；罗15:9－12），和他们的儿女（林前7:14；徒2:39；结16:20，21；罗11:16；创 3:15；17:7；）；这教会是主耶稣基督的国（太13:47；赛9:7）、上帝的家（弗2:19；3:15）。按照常例，教会之外，别无拯救（徒2:47）。
三．基督将牧职、圣言和上帝的蒙恩之道赐给这大公和有形的教会，以便在 今生直至世界的末了召集并成全圣徒；又照所应许的，借着亲自临在和圣灵，使它们生效（林前12:28；弗4:11－13；太28:19，20；赛 59:21）。

五．世上最纯正的教会也难免有混杂和错谬（林前13:12；启2，3； 太13:24－30，47）；有些教会是如此地堕落，显然 不再是基督的教会，而成为撒但的会堂（启18:2；罗11:18－22）。虽然如此，在地上总是有照着上帝的旨意崇拜祂的 教会（太 16:18，诗72:17；102:28；太28:19，20）。
六．除主耶稣基督以外，教会没有别的元首（西1:18；弗1:22）；因此，罗马天主教的教皇在任何意义上都不是教会的元首，而是那敌基督者、大罪人和沈沦之子，是那 在教会中高抬自己，反对基督和一切称为上帝的事（太23:8－10；帖后2:3，4，8，9；启13:6）。

1. The catholic or universal church, which is invisible, consists of the whole number of the elect, that have been, are, or shall be gathered into one, under Christ the Head thereof; and is the spouse, the body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

The visible church, which is also catholic or universal under the gospel (not confined to one nation, as before under the law), consists of all those throughout the world that profess the true religion; and of their children: and is the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, the house and family of God, out of which there is no ordinary possibility of salvation.

Of the Church
I. The catholic or universal Church, which is invisible, consists of the whole number of the elect, that have been, are, or shall be gathered into one, under Christ the Head thereof; and is the spouse, the body, the fulness of Him that fills all in all.[1]
II. VI. There is no other head of the Church but the Lord Jesus Christ.[13] Nor can the Pope of Rome, in any sense, be head thereof; but is that Antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalts himself, in the Church, against Christ and all that is called God.[14]

太十三24-30耶稣又设个比喻对他们说，天国好像人撒好种在田里。及至人睡觉的时候，有仇敌来，将稗子撒在麦子里，就走了。到长苗吐穗的时候，稗子也显出来。田主的仆人来告诉他说，主阿，你不是撒好种在田里吗？从哪里来的稗子呢？主人说，这是仇敌作的。仆人说，你要我们去薅出来吗？主人说，不必，恐怕薅稗子，连麦子也拔出来。容这两样一齐长，等着收割。当收割的时候，我要对收割的人说，先将稗子薅出来，捆成捆，留着烧。惟有麦子，要收在仓里。47天国又好像网撒在海里，聚拢各样水族。

EZE 16:20 Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter, 21 That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them? ROM 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. [4] MAT 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind. ISA 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
[5] EPH 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God. 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.

[7] 1CO 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. EPH 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. MAT 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. ISA 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
[8] ROM 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. REV 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
